We return to the gym for a fitness photo session but this one has a twist.
Amira is no stranger to these pages. We have worked together several times over the years. Each time resulted in amazing images and wonderful memories that will stay with me forever. She’s a powerhouse in terms of personality, presence, and physically. Do I even need to mention a fierce competitor in the gym as a powerlifter?
Just look a couple entries back on this site for proof of that.
This time around, we decided to do a session at her gym, Project Sixkiller Performance, in Norfolk. Which meant an early start time so we could be wrapped up before patrons arrived for their workout. As in a 6am start time. This meant we both had to be up earlier than that. She had to do make up and I had a 45 minute drive just to get there.
Which didn’t require a second thought for me. I will gladly get up at 4:30am on a Sunday for her. Heck, I gladly get up at 3:30 for a sunrise beach session in the summer. I love what I do and I love those willing to do the same things for a session.
I’ve done plenty of sessions of her working out and even one of her competing. This time we were aiming for a mix of beauty and strength. Strong is sexy. The beauty is a beast. You get the idea. For the record I think this was the first time I’ve ever seen her in a dress, much less photograph her in one. I was stunned when she walked out in one.
Needless to say that other sessions are forthcoming. I can’t wait. We haven’t begun to scrape the surface of this Wonder Woman.
