Fashion, Style, and a Jungle-Inspired Setting
Some locations just work. For this fashion photography session with Angelias Couture, Angelias wanted a jungle, out-in-the-wild theme to complement her designs. Pump House Park in Richmond, Virginia, gave us a great mix of wooded surroundings, historic stonework, and a bridge that helped bring her vision to life.
The bold animal prints, dramatic black and white outfits, and flowing fabrics brought plenty of personality to the images. My goal was to showcase the outfits by matching their designs and mood with a location that complemented them. The poses were just as important, helping highlight the cut, shape, and styling of each piece so the clothing could really stand out.

Fashion photography is about more than showing off an outfit. It is about how the clothing moves, how the model wears it, and how light, composition, and location come together to tell a story. After nearly 40 years behind the camera, I still enjoy finding new ways to bring those elements together.
A huge thank you to Angelias, her husband, and all the talented models who made this session possible. Your time, creativity, and energy helped bring these images to life, and I appreciate being part of it!
