I simply could not miss the entire 2020 beach season, much less the year, without getting in at least one session with the local legend.
It would be a massive understatement to say that this year, so far, has not gone as planned. Both on a world and a personal basis, 2020 has not lived up to expectations.

I refused to give up. All along my recovery period I kept a short list of things I wanted to do as soon as I possibly could. The list was a goal to reach. It was the reward for all the trouble I went through. I gave it a lot of thought over those months and refined it. Added some, took off others, shuffled it around. I really honed it down.
One thing that never left the list was a session with Jessica. She has been a mainstay since my arrival to the area many years ago. She has been a bellwether of my work. Every time we work together there is something new. My game gets stronger and my work improves exponentially. Fashion, beauty, beach – all of my growth in those areas can be traced back to her somewhere.

Especially beach. Those are always magical highpoints.
The possibility of getting a beach session in with her were dropping along with the temperature. Finally I got the green light and, after a short time to build up some endurance, I reached out to her. Somehow we found a date that worked for both of us.

Did it go off as planned? No. Was I rusty? Yes. Did any of that matter? Not in the least. As always it was like two halves coming together to make a whole. Working together seamlessly, creating new work, and elevating each other’s game. That’s what great teams do.
The payoff was well worth the trouble getting there. I can’t wait to go again.
