My first foray into location photography since my move to Clearwater.
I met Dee right after I moved to Clearwater as she lives across the street from me. We hit it off right away as we share the same sense of sarcastic humor. I noticed a bike parked at her place and asked if it was hers. She said it was. It was right there and then that I knew I had found my first photo session.
After some scouting we settled at a park in Dunedin, just up the road from us. It had a hard beach at the water’s edge that would support the weight of her bike. Dee was a bit nervous as she had never done something like this before but had always wanted to try it. In a matter of minutes she was up and running, moving about and hitting all the right poses. Of course her attitude was the star as it shined wonderfully.
It took me a few minutes to get back into the groove as it was almost four months since my last session. The past few months have been a whirlwind of change for myself as I continue on my journey in life.
Come to find out, Dee has also been on her own journey for a while now. I’ll let her explain.
“I moved to Florida in 2013 not realizing how much of a journey this move would become. I’ve named this journey the “Beautiful Disaster.” After moving here, I was introduced to Florida’s motorcycle world. I’ve always loved the lifestyle but never imagined that I would ride my own bike. After years of climbing the ladder of life, my dreams came true. It’s proof that, if you work hard, be who you are, stay humble, and true to yourself, you will come out on top.”
