Capturing the Elegance, Energy, and Creativity of VAFW 2024
I recently had the honor and pleasure of covering Virginia Fashion week (VAFW) 2024. This six-day celebration of style brought together emerging and established designers across a series of exciting events. The festivities began with an elegant opening reception at the Poolside Cooking Cafe Tuesday night, continued with a thrilling show at The Bunker Brewpub. Saturday featured a vibrant Pop-Up Shop at MacArthur Mall. The week concluded with a dazzling Grand Finale show at the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA).
I’d like to extend my deepest gratitude to Ann Ward Leister, Creator and Producer of VAFW, as well as Ron Cooke and Jennifer Leister. Their hard work, passion, and dedication made this unforgettable week possible but also for everything they’ve done and continue to do.
