Jessica Magary’s beach sunrise session in Virginia Beach.

The return of the legend.

There are a certain few people that I would gladly work with every week as the images are always game changing. These people raise my game by a magnitude of 10. Our combined energy makes us invincible and fearless which results in stunning images.

Jessica Magary is such a person.

It’s nearly impossible to match up our schedules so when an opportunity arises, we jump at it. Recently the heavens aligned just so allowing us to team up once again.

I relish these occurrences as she is the consummate pro. She’s always on time, prepared for any situation, understands how I work, and just breathtakingly beautiful. The best part is that she can MOVE. She has a grace and presence that is unmatched. She knows how to position herself to show off her outfit and herself. I firmly believe she should be teaching up and comers how to pose for photographers.

To prove my point I humbly offer up the yellow dress series seen below. Those images were all taken in the course of a few moments of each other. It shows the cut and flow of the dress, to be sure, but just look at the energy those images have. The flow, the movement. And she doesn’t just stand there and let the dress hang lifelessly. She uses the dress in unique ways. I’ve always said fashion isn’t about what you wear, but how you wear it. I rest my case.

Working together as much as we have allows me space to play, to try new things, to push my boundaries. The make-up prep shots with the surf in the background and the long white lace images are proof of that.

People like Jessica have made me who I am today. I would not have reached this level of craftsmanship without them. I owe everything to them and am humbled to be able to work with them.

Thank you.
