Lessons and Classes

I am a teacher – I say that with pride. I love teaching those that have a desire to learn the craft in any way I can. I look upon myself as a guide helping people find their paths in this world. I work with those that are just starting out all the way up to professionals looking to expand their horizons or to refresh a stale topic. Let me help you along your journey.

A typical class starts with a lecture by me followed with a demonstration of the topics. I then turn the camera/computer over to you to get hands-on experience which is invaluable. Anyone can read something or listen to someone talk. Nothing sticks until you try it yourself.

After the shooting/editing session we wrap things up with a question/answer period.

I offer two to three hour single classes, half day sessions, as well as full day seminars. I also offer the option of spreading out classes over a given number of nights/weeks for those that cannot give up a half day or for more in depth exploration.

I offer one-on-one mentorships as well as small group lessons limited to 3 or 4 students to make sure everyone gets quality time.

I offer classes/workshops on everything for those just starting out, intermediate lessons, and advanced issues like lighting, posing, studio, location and other specialties.

I also offer classes for those that want to learn the ins and outs of editing images in Photoshop. Students must have a current version of Photoshop. You can download a free 30-day trial of this program just before the class.

Let’s not forget social media, marketing, and business issues.

Contact me today with any questions/concerns you might have or to book a lesson just for you or for a small group.
