Things don’t always go as planned.
So, the plan was to get up at 430 Sunday morning and drive to Yorktown Beach. Once there, I’d scope out potential subjects/locations and pick one. Next, I’d set up the gear and wait for condensation to disappear off the lens. Then I would compose the image. snap a test shot and then wait for peak light and color.
Problem was, right after taking this test shot, the owner raised anchor and sailed away leaving me with empty space and no time to find another subject as the sun was up 10 minutes later. So, 90 minutes of drive and set up time for 1 shot.
But it is a decent shot so I’m good.
